As much I do not like this guy, no one knows him best except Draquist. He was an idiot in the forums, so everyone may justly believe that he is an idiot on the intranet. Forum behavior is different from behavior in the real world, though, as our friend Ozzy wisely pointed out. So, from this, no one can tell Draquist that he is friends with a twit. He knows who this kid really is, so you cannot make such ludicrous statements about him in real life.

As for Bottle, I agree with you, but you must look through Draquist's part of the spectrum. This is a friend from real life who joined an online forum. I'm sorry, but I will defend a friend in real life over anyone on the internet. He sees this friend each day and they are part of each other's real life. I'm not trying to act all high and mighty here, I'm just showing his point of view.

As for Draquist, he should not have let the situation get out of hand. If this was his friend (meaning he knows him well), he should have forseen such nonsense from Ozzy and not suggested these forums to him. And even if he was unable to predict it (evidently, he did not), he should still have kept him under control. Obviously, that failed as well. Maybe Ozzy just did not hold his "friend" Draquist's interests close to heart, and in that case, they should reanalyze their friendship. But that is all for Draquist to decide.

And as for the other fools who simply like to jump on the flaming bandwagon... you guys are funny in a pitiful way.

gotta love the flame bandwagon.

i wouldnt go so far as to try and take responsibility of my friends on an online forum. if they act like idiots it's their fault in my eyes. i guide them, but if they decide to be rebels, it's not my fault.

some people just dont take the adjustment to the LF environment very well. people take advantage of new members, and harshly correct them for their mistakes in ways that make them lash out instead of becoming a better forumer. he did choose to be pretty impertinent, but that happens when you're being ganged up on for silly mistakes and you're new...

it also still doesnt make up for the fact that he deliberately chose not to follow the forum rules

Seriously, I shun one of my real life friends online. He's too full of retardation and anti-lulz. Does this mean we aren't good friends? OF COURSE NOT! The internet is just a very different place and not everybody thrives here.

Many people are neglecting the chance that this was draquist attempting to troll. This is a possibility.
