Can some one explain to me how wifi works I understand I have to buy a router buy how do I get Internet where do I pay?

seriously?

you get internet from an ISP (internet service provider). those are companies like Road Runner, Comcast, Surewest, ect... They will give you a modem, and you would hook that into your wireless router and set up your network. your wireless router will come with instructiuons for that part.
