I have an unregistered hypercam and I want to record sound with it, but when I click "Record Sound" and record, I don't have any sound. Is it because mine is unregistered, do I need a fricken microphone or something?

you need one of two things to get sound, of which some computers have and some don't have that capability.

1) the ability to record from your sound card
2) microphone

without that, no sound
