If you have Filters on All your phones then I would say you may have a bad filter. I would pick up each phone and see if you can hear the PC on it. The tones and beeps of the data being sent over the phone line. Then if the PC is not disconnected and you do not hear the PC data being sent that Phone and Filter should be good. The bad one should kick your PC off line.
? Do you have a cordless Phone and if so do you have one of them systems where the Base controls it all? Does that one have the Filter on it also? I would also double check all the Phones and Cordless Phone Bases just to make sure. |

Is it on just one Phone?
If it is on just one phone unplug it and check the others. If they are all good then try one of the good filters on the phone you hear things on. If that works then you found it. |

cordless phone bases shouldn't be right next to your router, as they both use the same range of frequency (2.4 GHz), although mine is but i don't have any control over that, the phone line for the dsl modem/router-in-one is only available in one place.
it is possible for a filter to be faulty, so if the computer's beeping is only audible on one phone, try switching the filters and see if the phone that beeps changes |
