Ice elemental
Ice Elemental
HP: 100 Armor: 12 Blocking: 45% Power: 15 + freezing (unblockable) Movement: 3 Recovery: 1 Attack Range: 1 tile The Ice Element may look strong, but TAO not being ice-friendly, he slowly melts as the game advances. 1 Health is lost at the end of every turn, when it blocks and 5 every time he freezes an enemy. When attacking, the Ice Element creates a shell of ice, freezing its enemy. There doesnt need to be a focus. The way to break the ice is to either wait until it melts (5 turns) or hit the ice dealing 4 dmg to the freezed unit (its not 4 + power of attack used to break the ice, just plain 4). The 4 damage is unnafected by the armor, but the 15 basic dmg is. This adds some strategical value to the game as it COULD be worth breaking the ice yourself to deal that extra 4 dmg and no focus for paralyzing but the paralyzing wears off itself. I think the health could even be higher because... 5 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 5 + 3 all the time tends to kill you pretty friggin fast :P Last edited by MBurns; 03-29-2007 at 03:33 PM. |

I think it should have 2 turn recovery, because honestly, freezing a unit every other turn is a bit overpowerd, also, I think it should take slightly increased damage from the dsm, pyro, and dragon.

Good idea for increased damage from fire units. If we DID make it a 2 turn recovery tho, we'd have to take the health even higher. The whole point of that 1 turn recovery is that whenever the Ice Elemental freezes a unit it loses 5 health + 3 from the turn begenning...it tends to go down pretty fast. You can also break the paralysis by hitting your own unit to then allow that previously-paralyzed unit to hit the Ice Elemental during its recovery turn.
