I only get the FP if people stay, not just if they join though. And it's not much. What's the anger issue about?

LF could purchase a team when they make more.
Playoffs end on 20th. which means you can sign on 20th. So new teams should be available around then. But they'll go fast. 1,000 FP to buy it, and it lasts for 2 seasons (then you can repay). That's about $8 US if you wanted to do that.
