Posting In Forum Games And Chain Threads

Welcome to the Forum Games and Chain Threads section of the forums.

If you're new to these forums, this thread explains a few details which should be known. First off, if you're new I would suggest searching the forum for other stickied threads, which appear at the top of each section. A very important one to check would be the Forum Rules - Posted By Prophet. Once you read those, you should be ahead of the game.

Forum Games and Chain Threads is a section made for the purpose of members to post games (example: Decoder) and chain mail like e-mails (example: If You Had 3 Wishes....). Members usually take turns answering questions, solving puzzles, or simply rating something. This section is made with the intention of fun, and there is no post count. I repeat, posting in this section doesn't raise your post count, so if you have questions as to why you posted twenty times in this section today, and your post count never went up, this is why. The same goes for the Junk section.

Awhile back, Forum Games and Chain Threads was bombarded by new members trying to reach 50 posts to be able to play in the arcade. This concept was modified and eventually removed. It showed a great example of how people couldn't read a simple sentence (Does Not Raise Post Count!) and how people weren't even contributing to the forums. Recently the arcade was removed completely, as it was slowing down the server and was causing problems. That isn't to say it isn't ever coming back.

So, remember, this section is meant for the enjoyment of forum members. It isn't here to get a higher post count, and isn't meant to contribute much to the forums. It is simply a section to goof around in, but rules still apply!
