Some time ago I stumbled over this animation and had an idea:

I know there are alot decent tag/sig/art makes around on LF, and would like to challenge their creativity. This is some sort of contest, but with no winners or losers. Any decent contribution will simply earn pos reps from me, and supposedly from other members acknowledging the results.

GAME RULES:
First choose an image from the gallery in the second post of this thread. There will be two types of images to choose from:

Stock images, mostly untouched
Images allready edited by other LF members

Of course, to start out with there will only be stock images.
Check the present theme. A theme could be a form of style, a way of painting or editing, or anything other topic suitable for a theme. The present theme is also to be found in the second post of this thread.

YOUR TASK:
Edit your chosen image following the theme. Try to stick to the theme as close as possible. E.g. if the theme is "clipping and rearranging", try not to edit coloring or add stuff to the image, but simply clip and rearrange. The rest is up to your own creativity. After some rounds of this game, I will make animations, hopefully similarly decent to the one at the top of this post.

I hope this game makes any sense to you, but please post questions about everything that may be unclear.

NOTE:
Feel free to propose any additional stock image you see fit. I will then add it to the stock gallery.
There is no restriction to how many artists may manipulate the same image, and they are not forced to proceed where another artist finished.

please check the sources of your images. some of them (notably last 2) look like actual copyrighted art. it's not a big deal here, but lets try not to take liberties with others' work.

I got most of the images from art forums (mostly conceptart.org), I'll check about the copyright issue tomorrow...

Made some random geefecks out of that, just filter effects, no vexeling. Going for the vexel look though. hurhurhur
