Elimination Extreme!

Yes, I am bringing back an old thread game that I made 4 years ago. It's call Elimination. I call this one Elimination Extreme! to give it a catchy title. Here is how the game works:


Players - 12 (4 teams, 3 on each team)

Object - Be the last team standing. You will be bracketed against another team in a game of Q and A, multiple choices, word scrambles, etc. Each thread will have it's own host of questions and such. Those will be people I pick out of pure instinct on knowing how to do that and be active for it.

Matches - In a match, you and your team mates will be facing off against another team. When it's your team's turn, the host will lay down a question or such and any one of your 3 team mates can answer it. Right answer gets you a point, wrong answer gives the other team a chance to answer it. It goes in turn order until one team gets 5 points. The winning team of that match goes to the finals to face the winner of the other match.

Special Features - In the game, each team has 1 "Momentum Shift". A "Momentum Shift" is a special item you can use for turning the tables around. If your team is behind 3-1 for example, you can use momentum shift and it doubles the value of the next question you must answer. Get it right and you get 2 points instead of 1. Remember, each team only gets to use it once through the whole event. So use it wisely and be sure that you can answer the question given with the momentum shift.

Running matches - The matches will be held in a different thread outside of this one. It's to ensure there's more activity and less confusion.

Hosts - There will be 3 hosts. I will be hosting the final round of Elimination Extreme! The other two will host the semi-final matches. Remember, you MUST be an active user to be a host.

Picking Team Mates - Choose your team wisely. This is where a factor like time zone comes in.


That should sum it up easily. So I need 12 players, and 2 hosts.

A host will be responsible for making the questions for the match. The questions must seem fair. You can't always post simple questions with answers that can easily be found on the internet.
