The blind hatters riddle

The only way the bootmaker woud have known the color of his hat would be, if he had seen two red hats in front of him. Thus as he says he doesnt know, he must have seen either 2 blue hats, or 1 red and 1 blue.
The barber now knows, that if he sees the hatter wearing a red hat, his own hat would be blue. But as he sees the hatter wearing a blue hat, he cannot tell wether he has a red or blue hat on his own head.
Thus, the only and true solution is, that the hatters hat is blue.
