I've decided to see who on LF can make up the best country.
In your entry, you must include the following:

1) The name of your country

2) The power system of your country (Democracy, Monarchy, etc.)

3)Your country's strengths and weaknesses

4) Your country's main source of income (Impossibly High taxes, Tourism, etc.)

You can submit countries after the competition is over, just for fun, but you (obviously) can't win. :P

Sunday is the 13th.

Regardless here is my entry, but first a disclaimer.

All Characters, races, faces and places in this entry. Even those based on or copied from real life examples. Are entirely fictional. The following description uses a range of sophisticated techniques for effect, including but not limited to. Lies, Blatant Racism, Exaggerations, More lies, Idiocy, More Lies and finally Delicious Truth oh and Lies. This is entirely for the sake of humour and even though it is all true and has a serious point it should not be taken seriously by anyone. Furthermore this is by no means a parody of an existing country.

1) The Trbes of the Ameri's

2) The Tribesmen (Women don't matter they are merely media objects) of the Ameri's are "Guided by" (Ameri for "Trapped in") the fascist iron grip by their warlord, granted the honorourary title of the Khan of their tribes. Often referred to as an "Amerikhan".

He may be from any background as long as he is not Black, Muslim, Or "Azn" these being the only other nationalities recognised by the tribes as "Real", subsequently he may not be weak, short, intelligent, caring, able to string 2 words together to form a coherent sentence, gay or most importantly in any way "Racist".

If he (And it must be a he as the place of women is firmly recognised but never voiced for fear of not seeming PC enough) fulfills these terms he may then lead the Tribes. His every whim and decision unquestionable not only by Ameri's, but in their eyes all other "Inferior" countries as well.

3) The main strength of the Ameri's is it's awe inspiring ability to demand or take by force what it wants from it's allies or enemies. The actual political relations of the Ameri's with a country are not taken into effect when it is arbitrarily designated "Friend" or "Foe" (And indeed in the case of most wars "Friends" are killed just as much as "Foes"). Instead the only thing that matters is how strong they are. If the Ameri's feel they can crush them they are "Foe". If not they are "Friend" and must be shot in the back a little to weaken ready for later conquests.

Once in a Blue Moon however they take on a cunning 2 part war which involves 1) Stumbling into newfound lands with no or inadequate supplies and almost starving to death. This entices friendly but rather dim locals to help them. Once the locals come into close proximity with the Ameri's however they are instantly bombarded with various Ameri diseases like "F.A.I.L" and "A.I.D.S" this renders them weak and ready for conquest. 2) Once they have been dominated sufficiently enough that there is no hope of them ever recovering they are then packed off onto ships and taken elsewhere to lands the Ameri's don't deem good enough for themselves. They are also denied the right to even be named after their old lands and are labelled as something entirely different. At this point all their countries wealth is ingested into the Ameri's coffers with a minimum of effort. On the plus side they do get a day where the Ameri's eat steak in honour of their money, I mean memory.

Through this method and the tributes their foolish friends grant them the Ameri's have grown far stronger then they by any rights should of given their natural affinity for inadequacy. it is probably worth noting that the Ameri's are often destroying their own culture when they consign these enemies to death. Seeng as they are not a race as such but merely a ragtag band of outcasts from all other countries. Usually these are referred to as Mongrels but obviously Ameri's are "Much more civilised then that"

4) Other then it's previously mentioned warfare Ameri's secondary primary source of income comes from. Pretending they invented things! Among Ameri's fabled so called "inventions" there are.

* The Internets (the CERN, Europe *)
* Automobiles (the French)
* Computers (the Germans)
* Aircraft (the French)
* Democracy (the Greeks)
* England (the Romans)
* Telephones (the Scottish)
* Whiskey (the Scottish)
* Rap (Cockneys)
* etc, etc, etc.

* - Although, the Ameri's invented the actual pipes

As well as this Ameri's also like to pretend they 1) Won various wars for people. 2) Are respected and taken seriously.

Due to this blatant abuse of and disregard for anything and everything the Ameri's have risen to become a power in the world. The End.

Also, please get your facts strait before you start bashing "Ameri".
What the Greeks had was hardly a Democracy compared to what we have today. Ect. ect ect.

I certianly hope that you were honestly just playing around but....... It didn't sound very similar to a joke.
