Aside from the fantasy league at www.nfl.com/fantasy from off topic, I'm having one done here in the forum game section. Do NOT combine this thread with the off topic thread. Anyways, I'd like to try something new this year besides the fun match predicting from last year. In this year, we will have a live fantasy draft for a number of players from the following positions:

Quarterback = 2
Runningback = 3
Wide Receiver = 4
Tight End = 2
Kicker = 2
Defense/Special Teams = 2 (Do not pick a single player off a defense or special team, you pick an NFL team's whole Defense/Special Team)

You'll have 9 active players in your roster with 6 reserve players. Make sure to draft the number of players marked up above. This is what that would look like:

Active players are who you choose to start on your fantasy team. The reserve players are players used when your active players are on a bye week or injured. When the season starts, each week you will face another user with their active players and depending on your players' performance, you will be awarded a certain amount of points. Whichever user earns the most points, wins the match up. Reserve players do not award your team points. Only the players you set as your active will.

NOTE= YOU CANNOT PICK THE SAME NFL PLAYER TWICE. IF ONE USER PICKS AN NFL PLAYER, NOBODY ELSE CAN SELECT HIM.

When we get a decent set of users joining up, the draft order will be randomized and the fantasy draft will begin. Each user has up to 24 hours to draft an NFL player they want on their team. If they pass 24 hours without a post of their player choice, I will give them the best available player ranked on the top 125 list. Here is an example of how the draft order would look through 8 users:

That pattern will still follow through the rest of the rounds. Remember, I figure the draft to be over around the end of July. So within August, you can make trades with others users, or drop players you drafted and pick up one from the free agency. The free agency is for NFL players that did NOT get drafted in this fantasy draft. So any NFL player that wasn't drafted is available in the free agency.

You'd need a miracle to get all those players in a fantasy draft.
