The Einherjar Tournament of Clans 2 (ETC): Discussion/Sign-up Thread
So alot of interest was stated from the PMs I sent out so lets get this started. I wanted to wait till a few things were cleared within our clan but I felt this shouldn't wait any longer. On a side note to those who rushed to be prepared for the start of March, my apologies. I wanted to ensure I had the time needed to manage this properly.
Ok, Same format as last year with a few tweaks to hopefully improve it and clear away any faults we encountered.
Rules and Details
Your clan leader(s) needs to confirm your entry. Some members randomly saying "OMG MY CLANZOR SHUD BE INZOR" won't count.
Each clan needs to appoint one leader (member if prefered but must be stated by a leader for obvious reasons. If you need to ask, refrain from doing) as a source of contact for this. This will be for info/updates and general queries.
The person mentioned above would be responsible for sending me the final team list for their clan. List must be received by the 10th March. If extensions to this time are needed then send me a PM so I can then inform all involved of this.
Team Requirements
Two players for the gold freestyle section.
Two players for the gold turtle section.
Two players for the grey with drops freestyle section.
Two players for the dropless grey freestyle section.
Two Substitutes for whichever styles you wish. You may pick members able to cover all 4 styles if you prefer. The styles they can play do not need to be stated.
You need a total of 10 different players to enter into this competition. Trying to enter members twice will not be tolerated and should this be done and found out, both player scores will be void. With this in mind I greatly advise you to avoid shared accounts.
Rules
Each player must have their own forum account and post their own wins.
All players have to show respect for their opponents and maintain a high level of sportsmanship and honour throughout. Leaders: Upon signing up your clan you will be held responsible for all your members’ actions and behaviour. There will be a zero-tolerance on this and should you be found to break this then you could receive anything from a point-deduction to disqualification from future events hosted by The Einherjar. May not mean much to you being banned from our events because its done so we simply don't have to deal with you anymore
Each screenshot of victory must clearly show your win. If it does not and your opponent does not verify this then the match will be void and need to be replayed. Please make your screenshots good ones as you cannot rely on your opponent.
Shared accounts (eg. leader/recruiter accounts) are not allowed. Should it be found out that you enter the same person in your team using two different accounts then both the accounts will be disqualified and all games they have/would play would be automatic losses.
Leaders please post here stating your interest and you will be PM’d with all information you need to complete your entry. If you already have your team set you may also announce it here should you wish.
The tournament will be in a league format with the point system similar to the LGL tournaments Bottle hosted: 1 Point for a loss, 3 for a draw and 5 for the win.
Prizes
None, this will have to be strictly for the honour of competition and victory. If Seed should suddenly return I may choose to offer the prize of a set amount of upgrades to be arranged and announced at the time. Due to Seed’s absence there is no point in offering a prize as it may never be received.
