You aren't getting it, the witch attack can't be stopped. It's a straight attack pattern and doesn't need empty space to attack units that are deeper in the pattern.
Also the way you worded it you said all LOS attacks including....which means you were counting the witch attack as an LOS attack and were putting emphasis on the fact that it was also stopped. It may not have been your intention but that is the way you worded it.
