Phoenix Egg/ Phoenix ---major changes

Phoenix Egg

HP: 50
AR: 10
MV: 0
RG: 4
RC: 6 turns initial

Since the 'Wyvern Egg' is already apart of the assets, and everybody talks about how hard it is for SeeD to do anything, I propose a name change and it's implementation.

The Phoenix Egg starts with 6 turns of recovery.

It looks like the Egg. It sits there, it cant move or really do anything besides be used in it's regular fashion. What it does do is hatch a Phoenix. This is done by using it's attack. If the Phoenix Egg is killed before it is hatched, it heals all units by 30 points.

When used a Phoenix is hatched. --see below.

Phoenix Egg does not count towards victory.



Phoenix

When the Phoenix is hatched, it flies upwards from the Bottom of the arena window through the top, it brings two units back to life. One on the tile the Egg was on, the other on a Tile of your choosing within 4 tiles. This is picked from the Egg's attack(use). They will have full health and their attack recovery. The ones that died most recently on your team, there will be times when you will need to choose carefully so as to get a beneficial group.

A Phoenix will not resurrect two units if one is a DT, it will only bring back the DT in that case.



I think it's much more balanced, it still does something useful if it dies. It works like most TAO units do, it does what it does and little else. Or you can leave it unhatched and kill it yourself for a single massive heal, up to the user. I hope this is more to your liking.....

Only one on field, no drops, single gold ???


I think that should work ok. Simple to the point, easy to implement. A couple of unit ID's stored in a variable, and check for the DT. Balanced.

My opinion? No. Reviving 3 units is out of the question.

Bringing 3 units back from the dead, such as a dragon scout and knight is way to powerful and could totally effect the outcome of the game.

everything affects the outcome of the game

DT counts as two units, so if a DT is involved, then only two come back, else dragons aren't counted at all. 3 units back from the dead. Think of it like reinforcements. Do you use it early to maintain a hold on the enemy, or sdave it till it has it's maximum potential, and risk a death blow to the egg ?

Is three really too much ? Your opponent may have one as well, that alone should be enough to keep it balanced. Figure two clric heals, that's 24 right. Okay now multiply it by three, only three units affected, not ten so 72, now it's one time only, so double it 144. that's about three knights yeah. a little less, but it should rock. Rock enough to get ppl to upgrade. I think 2 would be kinda weak myself. 3 knights, so 3 units. If you really think it's too strong, what would help ?

Way too overpowered. Bringing back 3 dead units is insane. This would make
the game totally unbalanced.

Exactly. Quit arguing. You think your the first person to come up with this unit idea? NO. Its been in units 3 or 4 times now and was completely denied each time.

Too complicated, not very well thought out, and completely unbalances the game.

Next time think of how the unit would affect the game, don't just post some pwnzoring unit that pops into your head.
