When a unit kills the cheese it "eats" the cheese and has some vintage wine. The unit then becomes snooty and will no longer attack for you. The Cheese can suicide into a unit.
The Cheese can morph into Cheese Man in 5 turns which has the ability to kill units instantly.

As for the type of Cheese I was thinking a nice supple French Raclette to go smoothly down the palate.

This is to be eaten with a glass of Mouton Rothschild from 1988.
