Lancer/Focus ward (EDITED)

I don't really have a good description but it basically looks like a horse with a guy with a lance on top. Same with the ward. No description but it looks almost like a Barrier Ward. Name: Lancer (Might need a new name) HP: 50 Armor: 20 Power: Varies* Range: Anywhere on the board as long as its vertical or horizontal to it. Move: Can't move naturally Block: 20% (As its on a horse, blocking can only be done with its lance) Wait: 2 turns (Attack only, as it cannot move naturally, its kind of like a rook in chess) *This unit can only move by attacking. Its attack within 1 tile is 4, 2 is 6, 3 is 10, 4 is 14, 5 is 20, 6 is 18, 7 is 14, 8 is 10, 9 is 6. It is like this because its max momentum happens in the middle (just like in a jousting competition). It starts losing momentum after the middle. It can change direction. It can also retreat up to 5 spaces after attack but this uses 1 movement, for a total of 3. The 5th/6th space becomes an unblockable attack. Name: Focus Ward (Might need a new name) HP: 40 Armor: 0 Power: Focus* Range: 6 Block: 100% ALL SIDES Wait: 4 turns *This unit focuses on 1 unit within 6 tiles. The focused unit gains unblockable ability and it adds 8 power to humans, 5 power to beasts, 8 to golems, 10 power to mages/witches. The focus is always broken after 3 turns or if it is attacked. Its basically useless for unblockable units. The focused unit CANNOT MOVE, it can't even try to move, as if it was paralyzed. This unit also makes the focused unit more focused and provides a weak barrier around it. Therefore, the unit gains 10% more blocking on ALL sides(max of 80 blocking, front). It also receives 15 armor as it cannot move(max of 30 armor). Golems receive 25 armor but no blocking. The focused unit can attack only. Units with specials such as frosties, do not receive power. Beasts receive 20 armor and 15% blocking. Please post your comments and thank you for reading. |

i like the idea of the charge knight i made a similar unit but it was a little to complicated maybe a better name is lancer? focus ward can the unit that is being focused on attack or not? if it can attack then this is a good unit but if it can't..... the focus ward is fairly useless because it doesn't provide enough powers to compensate for its lack of movement and attack. keep up the ideas!!!! |

Yes, the Charge Knight would have to launch forward into something, and it's not often you have a unit by yourself. Do the damage, and it can't move out naturally so once it's in if you haven't got an enemy unit in your base you're screwed. Coz it won't be able to attack for 3 turns and even if it did it would be dead after that.

The focus ward would be great to use with a Scout. And it's not entirely useless to Mages ( unless you didn't/forgot to put this in here ) It'll just give the mages +5 power but their attack will still be unblockable.
For the Charge Knight/Lancer whatever.. I dont like it. |
