Claudin
These giant crabs have evolved to be disproportional, their claws of two different sizes. They intimidate with a jab in the right side with their weaker claw and then punish with the right.
The Claudin looks like a large crab. Its left claw is much larger than its right claw and therefore has a better chance of blocking when using it. Health: 44 Armor: 20 Blocking: 70% front, 35% left side, 20% right side, 0% back (refer to note below description) Movement Range: 2 Attack: 15 (right), 25 (left) (dealt to and block-able by the given sides in which the Claudin is attacking) Code:
X X X X X X X X X X X X T X X X X C X X X X X X X The Claudin C first brings its right claw around the targeted unit T, so the two tiles leading up to this strike X must be open. If they aren't, you simply cannot attack. You can't skip this attack and move onto the left claw. If the right claw lands the hit (which would have to be blocked to the side if the targeted unit T were facing forward in this scenario, it would deal 20 damage. If, and only if, the right claw's strike is successful (deals damage), the Claudin C automatically strikes with the left claw directly after the attack. The tiles necessary for this second attack that must be open are shown by the X's. If the attacked unit T did not block the first attack, it would have built up some extra blocking already. If the second attack lands on the unit, it will deal 24 extra damage. • Shrubs don't count as occupied tiles for this attack. The Claudin just swipes through them if they appear to be blocking the path of either attack. Recovery Time: 2 Last edited by Forest_Archer; 07-26-2008 at 11:30 PM. |

Hm. I don't like how the blocking is different. People would always attack that one side. And this unit would be terrible at defense/turtling also with offensive/rush/anti because it can only move 2 spaces and it would die easily, plus most of the itme a unit is next to yours.

I'm sorry I don't think the ability to do 44 damage to a golem/ one shot a wisp, etc is a good thing, even if it needs space to attack. it's an interesting idea, but the damage is way too high.

the mechanics are all that really matters, zehro's post is irrelevant.
