Dominion 1: The Baron is a low ranking nobleman. Your opponent may move onto but not through spaces that are adjacent to the Baron.

I wasn't sure if this should effect teleportation or not.

I haven't seen this concept before. Let me know if it has already been done.

Why can they move onto but EDIT: not through adjacent units?

The stats are slightly overpowered in my opinion too. Cool concept, though, but why?

You may be misunderstanding. It is also possible I have not understood your wording. It only applies to open spaces next to the Baron.

What if the adjacent tiles have units on them. Will units be able to move/teleport through?

Dumbed down, what i'm asking is : Does Dominion applies only when the tiles are empty?

It always applies to your opponent only. If they put a unit on an adjacent space, they can't move through that unit next turn. If it was a knight it could then move again though and advance beyond the space.

Sorry, I left out a word.

I meant "why can it land onto adjacent tiles but not move through them?"

I could easily see some tactics and I like that aspect, but I don't understand the logic behind the unit.

Why can a witch's staff block a sword? Why do furgons and dragons block with part of their body? Yeah, tao doesn't make sense.

In other words, I never thought about it when I was making the unit.

I don't think I can make sense of it....and I really don't want to sit here and try. For longer than I already have.

I like the idea, however I think the damage may need to be reduced by a point or two.

The standard implementation of this idea is that once an opponents piece moves next to a unit like this, it can not move away at all, you must move the piece away from them. Was this your intention. If so the damage definitely needs dropping, and the status should be cut off by barrier wards.
