The Shining Force has undergone many changes in the past eight months. We had to deal with the loss of the clan name, though (thanks to Johnny13) we have it back. We have had to deal with many changes in leadership. And most importantly, we have had to deal with trying to keep the clan alive. Which was not an easy feat.

Those who were around in the height of The Shining Force's power know that, though a clan that was based off the secondary accounts of members from all of the top clans on Legends, we were a clan with a set of strong, core members. Members like Override, Tarik Keyhand, and of course, the one we all know and love as the original Tophi. Both the Legends Turtle Team and FPS Turtle Team had two Shining Force members to represent them. Override and Spit_Fire for Legends, and Magician (the team captain) and myself for FPS. Sadly, the clan said goodbye to all 3 of those members over time.

Now, with my return on Legends, I will try once again to bring The Shining Force back. Though, unlike the past few months that SF has undergone some ups and downs, the clan will have active leaders, even if I am the only one of them. This being said, the old recruitment method for The Shining Force was 1400+ for golds and 1200+ for grays. This will no longer be the platform for SF. The following will be the new recruitment method for anyone interested in joining SF. It is similar to the platform of the Arcadian Knights, which I lead on Great Lakes, with some changes.

Netjak Takes the Elite - Let's be honest here people, Netjak has the strongest core members of any clan on TAO right now. Judgement had them before, but nobody can deny the growth in Netjak as of late. Many old Judgement members have gone over to Netjak, and I'm sure some of the other top 5 clans have felt this growth in power by losing some of their members. I know CK lost Sniper__Master.

Celestial Knights Take Everybody - This is by no means an attack against Celestial Knights as a clan. You have some solid members, like ZADICO and .Z, but you abandoned your stat requirements and started giving try-outs to anyone that asked for one. This platform is not something I think is wrong. It works for a lot of clans, and I am sure that it works well for you, but it just means it's a lot easier for people to get into your clan compared to clans like Netjak and the old Judgement, where you needed stat requirements as well as a poll or try-out, depending on the clan you were applying to.

The Shining Force Takes the Proud and Brave - The Shining Force was never a clan that took over the rankings. Nor do I expect it to do so any time soon. However, SF will not close it's doors to an applicant just because they are new to the game. We do not have set stat requirements, nor do I think we will ever establish a requirement for stats again. I expect loyalty from my members. SF is not a part-time home so you can gain stats and leave, and if I think that is the case with you, I will not invite you. If that ends up being the case to a current member, they will not be re-admitted to SF unless they can convince the leaders to let them back in.

As I have said earlier, The Shining Force has undergone many leadership changes. The current leaders of The Shining Force will be the only ones until there is a need for more. Those leaders are:

IROK
Cerberus
kingedward
o[z]dakidd

This has nothing to do with thinking the other leaders we have currently are bad and not doing their job, but Cerberus and kingedward have shown what they can do as leaders and have been active. Any leaders that have lost their positions can take their inquiries up with me on MSN or AIM, but I doubt I will be changing this list for now.

I did not plan on making this thread until the new SF clan website and forums were set up, but I don't know when they will be finished. Hopefully that will be soon, and I will be sure to make an announcement of it when they are up and running.

So SF is officially back eh? Well good luck building a strong reputation and becoming one of the best clans on tao. Hopefully it'll become stronger than what it was before when I was in it along with Override, Tophi, and the others you mentioned.

May I ask what the new requirements will be?

G.L. as I stated in the initial post, we require loyalty above all else. Skill is something that can be learned. The way AK functioned in its prime was it invited anybody interested and trained them. Many of the people trained by LonelyTylenol became some of the best players on FPS.

Now, I'm not offering to train people. I've tried before and it didn't really work. I'm not much of a trainer. But if you're loyal to the clan, odds are you'll be admitted. Now, skill is great, but if you're 1700, don't expect to just be given an invitation.
