House Phoenix is a small clan dedicated to becoming one of the most honorable among all of TAO. We believe that SeeD has done us all a service in creating TAO, and it should be treated as a treasure. Boosting, Cheating, Clan Jumping, "Stat Raping", Lying, and otherwise betraying chivalry hurt TAO as a whole. They are acts of cowardice and desperation, they are marks of lesser warriors. House Phoenix will stand as a beacon of constant improvement towards goodwill, and good tactics. We encourage new sets and variations, and any attempt to learn and grow from what SeeD has accomplished.

House Phoenix will probably always be a small clan, we believe in quality, not quantity. There are some requirements for entry;


1] Must be an 'Adult', I know this immediately bars about 90% of TAO players, but it stands with few exceptions, regardless maturity is tantamount.

2] 1000+ Grey, 1200+ Gold

3] No Clan Jumpers! not saying one couldn't leave, but staying less than a day, or coming back and forth is unacceptable and keep you barred from the clan.

4] Must play me a game or two, no sense in having a clan-mate that you don't know or wont get along with.


I may make exceptions on rule 1, for people in their late teens who can carry themselves appropriately. I'm 29, my Lady is 24, We may talk about: politics, religion, the human body, world goverments, or other such "mature" conversations. I just don't need anyone's parents suing me for 'corrupting little Johnny'....you know ?

If you are looking for a clan that values it's members, and want to enjoy being in a clan again, House Phoenix may be the place for you. I'm on fairly frequently, but I do have other obligations so I may be a day or two getting back to you now and again. Leave a message here and I will try to set up a time for a match, and a possible invite.

I look forward to this as an opportunity to learn more about TAO, building and running a clan,and *gasp* being a leader ! (building the clansite will work my skills too) (sry 4 all the smilies....)

Well, good luck with the clan It looks respectable, but I bet it's going to be quite inactive, judging by the maturity of most TAO players */sophisticated voice*: I would like to put a grey in there and have a nice bit of intelligent conversation. Seriously. We could play a couple games and get to know each-other, but I gather it's not stats or even skill that count as much as character and maturity.
