In my 3rd year of university when Body peircing was all the rage with those wanting to be "different". This guy tried to pierce his nipple with with a safety pin - no sterilization, soap, freezing or anything.
Needless to say, he was in pain and his nipple grew to twice the size because of the puss/infection.

I don't mind people have pierced whatevers, sometime I find it mildly erotic. But, if you're going to do it, get it done right.
