sergiy sounds like a jagoff. I feel bad for the people who are on the policed servers. I think they should all discontinue their over priced memberships and learn to play with one scout. Not having to deal with crazy mods alone is worth to play legends. :P

Up until then, sergiy ad been a really nice guy. I think he'd just gone into the mod selection thing thinking "whoever disagrees with me, I'll ban, because it's my choice who to pick and not theirs". It's just a shame for him that he had to ban 12, because if had been anyone else it would have died down much sooner.
I'd still rather have mods. (If they are chosen well.) I don't know what you have against them, Satori. |

I must agree with satori on that though. I don't know if things changed, but last time i was on fps mods just had better units and a platinum color account. They couldn't ban or do anything, so they were basically useless. There were even people spamming in front of them and they could do nothing.
I don't see any use for mods like those, they are not even mods actually. If you think about real mods on the other hand, think of the consequences. A real mod should be able to ban. That would take care of cheaters and spammers. But, the problem is, what if the mod starts taking the wrong actions? If the mod is not really a player, he will be neutral and not much involved in tao like konoha and retired are, so they probably won't do strange things, but they are not much active as well. If the mod is a player, than he is too much involved, and he may make the wrong decisions. |

One thing I forgot to add: the problem is that the in-game mods, while having the power to kick players who cyber/spam/cuss, either prefer or have been told to give a warning before kicking. This means that cyberers who are clever (if such things exist) take the warning, wait for the mod to log off, and then start again. The 5 mods can't be online on all the servers enough, and especially since they can't open 2 windows at once. And of course, with most of them being GLers, Banff and Army get disregarded a lot.
I'm still all for the addition of in-game mods on Legends. |
