Manuals are for real men.

My first car was bought for me by my dad when I graduated from High School. It was Automatic. After I screwed it up by not putting oil in it, I went without a car for a while. Then I bought a car in good shape for cheap from my uncle. It was Automatic. But eventually I screwed it up by totaling it (A lesson to the wise: don't ever trust people who are flagging you to go ahead and make a turn when you can't see. GRRR). So finally I was faced with buying a car from a dealer. All my life my dad has always driven a manual. My mom and my step mom would drive automatics. My favorite memory of my dad's driving was when I was 15 years old and he wanted to see how fast his car would go (115 MPH going straight with no hills). My favorite memory of my mom's driving is her totalling a car on a yearly basis. My dad drives like a man. He drives manual. So when I finally went to a dealer to buy a car, I said to him "So what do ya got? It has to be manual." I had no clue how to drive manual. But by george I was gonna learn. I don't regret it.

why? It's faster acceleration with proper timing, giving it the precious few seconds needed to win. And other reasons.

Hehe, I almost crashed today too! I was going at like 80 MPH and my lane merged...Usually I criss cross lanes to get home fast cause i'm really literally starving...So lane merged and this girl was busy talking to her friend next to her...I switched lanes fast so I wouldn't crash or "burn rubber" braking...Luckily there was no car next to me because I burned all the slow lane cars lol. And she knew what happened and she was all looking at me trying to say sorry...I wanted to flip her off and speed up but I just smiled and nodded to let her know it was okay and I cut her off and kept criss crossing.

Guys, my dad bought me a 2005 Acura TL Silver color tho today...Cheers
