I find the more I play on a constant basis, the worse I am.

This is because when you start playing as a constant habit, you start making moves out of habit as well.That is never a good thing, since each situation requires a unique thought process before moving.

Of course, for newbs this is different. As a newb you should play as much as you can to gain experience. But once the newb stage is done, more playing won't really help you all that much, since you have seen everything and already have all the knowledge you can.

It's like simple algebra, practice until you've got it down, but once you have it, you simply can't get better and the rest is natural talent.

Well, I hopefully want to play Stiv, or Dark. No matter the outcome, just a friendly match, so I can finally say "I played them once"

The number of games one has time to play affects their stat level, in rustiness applications and number of games played. Someone who has time for a couple games per week can't be as well oiled as someone who has time for 5 games per day
