Multi-Quote Page problem

I wonder if anyone else is having this problem.

I multi-quote two posts that are recent. I click "reply" so I can quote both people. What ends up happening is that about 5 or 6 different multi-quotes appear from posts as far as like 3 pages ago. These posts I don't intend to multi-quote because I've already done it and addressed them with a previous post. Yet when I try to multi quote in the same thread, they show up. Is there a way for these useless annoying extra quotes get rid of? It's happened to me about 10 times today that I've had to remove multi-quotes I haven't selected.

i've never had that happen to me before, there may be a chance that several of those quotes that show up were previously multi-quote selected and never actually quoted, and they are still selected when you are replying to the thread later

i dont know if it makes a difference, but when i multi-quote i select the first ones then on the last one click quote and they all show up in the order clicked

I go way back, select them all, then work my way forward. For some reason they show up in the post screen, but they still register as multi-quoted when I post a new time in the thread. It just happened again. I don't want to respond to the same post twice, so almost every post I need to delete multies.

I have had the same problems with similar functions to the multi-quote, in which previously selected items never disappear/are deselected.

The multi quote will stay active for each post until you actually quote it.
