Hey m8s,
I'm not sure if other ppl are having this prob aswell, anyways, I will get 2 the point.
When I login at LF and do not tick "remember me", the site will log me off as soon as I go to a different page ( like pressing "On Topic" e.g.).
I hope some of you out there know how to fix this, GL!

Sounds a bit odd, i don't know what's wrong with it. Sorry i couldn't have been more help. Don't worry though, as soon as a mod sees this the should know what to do.

Okay I try logging in LF but everytime I log in, It displays my username in the "Who's online" part but I am not actually logged it. I click on my username to display my blog thing then it says something liek "You are not logged in to access this page" then I try again and I am still not logged in. I found a way to prevent this by clicking the link saying "Click here if it does not redirect you", but this always doesn't stop the problem. Sometimes it is like a refresh of the page, still saying I have not logged in to view this page. Is this a forum bug or is it just my comp? Is anyone having the same problem?

EDIT: I've found some other thread/s just like this, if there are any good suggestions other than the listed previously, or that the solution of solving the bug is different, I'd like to hear it, otherwise could a mod close this thread.

did you acces LF using the http://legendsforums.com link, or http://www.legendsforums.com? I have experienced the same problems, when entereing from the first mentioned. The latter one usually works fine. I assume the problem lies in the cookies the forums create when you log in; they do not match without the "www".

I always log in this way:

When I go to legendsforums.com, the site comes up and I'm not logged in. When I click on a thread, it logs in by itself. I never knew why it does it this way, but I don't really care because I can log in.

Same happens to me. I just refresh my page or click my name which leads me to the user profile. Sometimes that doesn't work either so I just refresh it a few times and it starts to work.

there is an ongoing problem with the page that is set as the index page for the forums

do NOT log in on that page, and when you visit it, it often has many problems

Solution:

use http://legendsforums.com/forum.php for safe logging in and forum use. Don't click home, but rather the forum logo to keep off index and stay on forum.php or another page to stay logged in properly.

if you are logged in but then aren't shown as logged in, make sure a) remember me is checked (otherwise you'll be logged out after a time), and b) try this:

go to blalbla forums.com/forum.php and it will likely fix it (in the address bar)

Even if you are using a public computer, click on stay logged on, then log off when you are done. It won't log back on if someone else goes to the site if you log off.
