Typing confusion in TAO

When I play in games or sometimes in the lobby I'll type something but it won't show up. There's no lag because I can still see o ther peoples typings coming up and I can click in my setting change floors and what not. Normally I have to type the same thing at least 5 times to get it to show up once. Can somoene tell me this?

If you type it, then press enter, or send, it should send it and it will appear once it gets through to the server.

The issue lies when there is a lot of lag, because you are seeing chat lines come up from a minute or several minutes beforehand, but yours aren't coming up because they are still queued in the lag - they'll appear eventually

what about when u have censor on and u dont say a curse and it gets censored?

if there is a combination of words that form one, it'll do that

like nigeria, or certain other combinations. Remember that a space doesn't eliminate the censor's censor

im not altering the word tho it just does it some times

No, like the words never show up, only that one time when it finally appears. It's weird because I have to type it so many times for it to come up once. It's nothing to do with lag unless it takes 5 mins for sometihng to come up

bingo, 5 min lag - means a server registration (one of them) probably expired

just like he said, but you would be typing then it'll lag, and you look at some other object on your computer, and totally forget what you typed so you'll have to retype again.

Sometimes that happens to me. You just have to keep pressing enter till it comes up. It hasn't happened to me for a while, i think it coincides with a bad internet conection.
