Well gentlemen I had many battles 19 Sep 06 with my Jr account and one battle stuck out the most.

It was against a cock sure gold named Conarv.

He jumps grey players and mage bombs/rushes them with no cleric.

I had a total dropless grey set up.

He had a large array of witches and pyros with a dragon and muddy for support. Here is the start of that battle



And after a long hard and rather active battle. This is the result.



This guy was so damn sure of himself till the very end. This battle goes to prove yes Grey dropless set ups can beat a super gold mage bomb. Lame as it is mind you as it did come down to the last hit there. The knight had side hit the last remaining witch which won the game. He had like 16 HP left so my heart was pumping against that 8% chance the witch could of blocked. But she didn't.

That's a nice win, but your opponent's mage bomb is not very good.

Quite hilarious, good job. Like I said, the more pro players that start making new greys to do this, the better.

There's nothing quite like beating down a gold with a dropless grey after they've boasted all game about how they're better than you. Sometimes I only use 8 units to embarass them even more. (Naturally, this has a lower success rate, but the rewards are even better.) I beat Legends_Predator using only 8 units, he went about as crazy as I've ever seen him before. 8)

He just underestimated my chanty/BW combo. He was very confident of victory after I gave 2 knights to kill mud and scout, leaving only 2 damage units for me, and 3 knights, dragon, cleric, BR and frost left. Well, 2 frozen knights and frozen BR later, with my knight chasing his frost around, he swore, surrendered and left. ^_^

Thing is gentlemen beating a bomb like that with a dropless set up was very tedious for me to do. Though I did it, he messed up quite a few times which I nipped his butt on several times.

Sure it would be easier with dragons, muddies and a pumped up pyro or two, but the fact is I didn't have any of that to take out the constant rush of magic he had. I would of lost if I wasn't on my toes and he wasn't so complacent in thinking he already won.

I think a muddy is the #1 mage rush killer when backed up with a pyro or two. Without it, as I was, everything had to be hit in hand to hand.

I think his biggest mistake was not taking out the LW. I killed 3 or 4 units with it alone.
