I don't like to rush in Gold TAO, but stone turts are so easy to kill. So, I came up with this form that is somewhat a rush, but can also be very defensive if need be.
Description of how it works to stop a netjak rush is in the following battle report.



So I'm playing this form vs. Sniper__Master and his netjak rush with a diagonal knight wall on the side with the last two knights. I come in not really expecting to win, but I did know that if I executed my game plan well it was a decent possibility. He started by freezing my closest knight, which was the one scoutside. I then moved my dragon to where it threatened to OHKO his cleric in two different directions. He properly adressed the threat of my dragon, though, and managed to shave almost half of it's hp of too. Next, I hit his ambusher with my dragon and finished it with my other knight that wasn't frozen and my knight that had been frozen, but I had unfrozen with my scout. He then moved his mud to finish of my 15 hp knight,but missed a side shot. I then managed to salvage that knight, but end up sacrificing my other one for the mud. So far, I had taken a mud and an ambusher for only one knight.

Next, I played some defense to keep my knight alive, and ended up putting one set of shrubs up. Then, I finished off his frost I had already injured for my mud. I might have mixed up the order there, but when sniper comes on to flame me about this win and call me a little girl with my strategy I'm sure he'll correct what I've left out. After killing the frost, we accomplished nothing for a little while, but then I managed to attackand kill his cleric with the dragon, which he pretty much willingly gave up. After about 30 more minutes of proving to him I knew how to use a furgon frost tandem, he surrendered. Great victory for my form.


Sniper, I'm not calling you out in any way. I understand that you were frustrated, made some over aggresive moves,and probably could beat me 4 out of 5 games. I'm just putting this up because it's my first win with a form that I hope to defeat more rushes with, and I have to start somewhere. And don't be mad at me for playing my strategy, even if it is slightly annoying. Good game.

For people posting, if you don't just want to say a random compliment you could give me advice on the form or start using it yourself and post some wins in this thread. Anyone who uses a form similar to this, I would be pleased for you to post some wins.

I would like to point out that I feel a Stone Turt is the only way to go when taking out a NJ Rush, they are far from weak it's just the kind of Turt's designed to take out another Turt don't work so well against a NJ Rush. try using a Power Turt with a Stoned Dragon and a Knight or Two along with an LW. I've been open square challenging with one of these on Sun Tzu for almost a week now and I'm yet to lose to anyone.

However I do have some wins with a form a little similar to yours that I developed after shooting some ideas past Aeroethimetic.
This form it also works almost as well for Singles who don't have a Mud too by using a GA in it's place.

Also Gypsy has a Single NJ Anti VERY similar to yours with the exact same units and very similar placement only cornered he's been using recent;y Try asking him about it.

That was you? =/ To be honest I underestimated you from the start and just wanted to get the game over fast so I played dumb. The setup worked well and that dumb furgon pissed me off alot...gg dude.
