Need a Siggy Rotator? Plus a Step by Step Guide to Create Your Own!

Since imagerotation.com's future is doubtful - welcome to my new image rotation tut

To set up your own rotator, take these few simple steps.

1: Find a free web host that offers php, for example http://www.fr33webhost.com/

2: Download this file: rotator.zip

3: Extract the archive, which will be rotate.php and .htaccess
(note that in most cases you will not be able to upload .htaccess or it will NOT work - but it is NOT necessary on these forums because you can link to a .php as an image)

4: Log into your web host's online panel after activating your account

5: go into your file manager (s/s) and create a new directory (s/s)

6: click on the name of the new folder to enter it, then upload rotate.php (s/s)

7: using the same process as for rotate.php, upload each of your siggy images into the same folder

8: insert the following into your siggy box:
http://(your host url)/siggy/rotate.php with [img] tags on it, so for example if you were following the tut exactly and used the host i provided above, it would be http://(your username).fr33webhost.com/siggy/rotate.php with [img] tags around it

jons, just a thought but it could have something to do with them having to do php files, etc - a bit too much diy
