It's only "better" because he's doing it for people. I explained how to do it for themselves and nobody cared.

I would perfer it being told to me,where is your thread jonspen id think it would be better if people did it them selves.

lol, alas, Americans like it all done for them - and getting a host for their images is too much

also, just getting a web host to upload their images to is the challenge, as most don't have a paid web host, so its that major step that im taking out - the getting a web host and uploading them - i do it for them -its just a convenience thing

a lot of the time you can say
"upload via ftp your files into a folder and create this php file"

they will say, how do i upload, where do i upload, freewebs does it right? - there are few reliable web hosts that offer php with enough bandwidth for forum use - that is where ppl run into problems. - and its that step im eliminating for them to do

sry for the dub post, but i needed to bump this for an update

The server i host the images on is experiencing Temp downtime- they are upgrading the control panel - today i will set up an alternate site for everyone to use if this happens again

ALTERNATE FOR WHEN MAIN IS DOWN this week a bit
http://ddynasty.110mb.com/siggyrotate/(insert same ending as primary)/rotator.php

for example bbq bob's alt would be
"http://ddynasty.110mb.com/siggyrotate/bbq/rotator.php" in the [img] tags

sry for the inconveinence of the hosts's temp downtime

EDIT: alt host il do tomorrow, as the host is back up, at least at the time of this writing - they are still changing control panels tho!!

dub edit: the site is going alternately up and down today, but its for upgrade to cpanel - it should be steady again soon - i WILL get that alt site up by tomorrow

how many sigs can u put into one rotator?

i have quite a few and cant choose

for unestablished ppl, 5 siggies

for established ppl, upwards of 8 or so are good - cap it at 10 - i have 40 GB/month to work with so i should be able to cover that
