Looks a ton better, now you should mess around with smudging or adding c4ds instead of just brushing a background.

Lol. That background is 2 C4D's No brushing. And it uses some filtering as well...

Oh, looks like brushes. In that case try setting your C4d's to soft light or lighten only, it will blend the c4d's in alot better.

I dont use much C4D's most my work is just brushing and smudging...
