Render Quesion

I have a purple backround. The render has a white backround. How do I get rid of the white so it blend in with sig?

Umm, search your tools then for a cutout tool that automatically finds the border of your render. This is a very crude method, and I'm not sure if it will work. If it doesn't, I'll be quiet and let someone better help

the "magic wand" tool - looks like a stick with sparks on the end or a stick with dots around the tip

Yeah what red said, there should be a "Magic Wand" tool which allows you to cut out all the color around the render, as long as its one uniform color

It's not a render if it has a background. I recommend the polygon lasso tool to cut out the background. Zoom in a bit, and the go to work. Enclose the image within the lasso and you're good to go. It takes patience, I don't ususally bother cutting things out.
