1. How often will you be behind enemy lines, with every unit facing the opposite direction?
2. This is not "better" than a scout - it has almost no LOS.
3. If it hits once, 14 damage is very low. Not to mention armor will apply twice instead of once.
4. Low blocking and lowish HP make it a weak target if singled out.
Also, I know it's spelled Aussie, but why the hell would I name a unit directly after a group of people?

No matter what, there's a good chance it will be blocked.

Here, the boomerange going from the Ausi to the knight must pass from the side (adding to block % if it hits), and then bounce of L and come back. Chances are it'll be blocked. Hit from the back, and you have to face a front block on the return.
