The following are guidelines that are to be followed if you receive a warning or infraction from Moderators or Administrators of the forum:


Warnings

1. You will be warned if you break a forum rule stated here:

   or breaching our terms of service here:

   as well as using any of the language or bleeping out any of the language listed here:
   http://legendsforums.com/showthread.php?t=6419
2. Be sure to read all the stickies on the forum to ensure that you are not breaking any rules before you post. An example of such rules are the rules for posting in the last drop thread. The rules are located here:

3. You will only receive one warning per offence. If you received a warning a year ago for bad language, you will not receive another one and will be issued an infraction immediately for offences.
4. Read what the infraction Private Message states, it will give a reason and will point to the post that you broke the rule in making.
5. If the rule is unclear or you wish to ask why the warning was issued, send a Private Message to the Moderator or Administrator who gave you the infraction.
6. NOTE: Warnings will not be reversed unless you did not deserve to get it in the first place. They will remain with you as a constant warning not to do whatever you did again.
7. Warnings do not contribute to your total infractions and are worth zero points.

Infractions

1. Infractions are issued at the discression of Moderators or Administrators to rule breakers.
2. Unless you have broken a major rule, infractions should follow a warning about the same rule that you have already broken before.
3. If you were not warned before being given an infraction, you may Private Message the issuer of the infraction to ask why.
4. Once you hit 50 infraction points you will be banned. This is not negotiable.
5. Infractions, by default, are worth 5 points each, only for major deviations from the rules, at the discression of Moderators or Administrators, will larger infractions be issued.

Reversing Infractions

1. When an infraction is reversed, it becomes like a warning. It will always stay on your record, but will not contribute to your point total. If you break the rule again though, you will not be warned first, but rather will be infracted.
2. Infractions, by default, do not expire. If after 3 or more months of receiving no further infractions you think you have acted in a manor that you think you believe to be worthy of getting an infraction reversed, send a Private Message to the person who issued the infraction and they will review it on a case by case basis.
3. Sending multiple PMs in short succession, or sending it to an administrator will not get things done any faster, in fact it will likely just make the staff angry and lessen your chances of a successful reversal of the infraction.

I just feel that I need to add the following point: while you can always appeal to an admin about any mod decision, if the mod has cleared followed the rules set out for him/her, you will be wasting both your time and that of the admin. Please do not request reversals of warning or infractions if you actually did break forum rules.

Good News, Better News and maybe not so Good News


To start off please follow all the rules zzzaacckk has posted at the top. They all still apply unless this post differs from his.

Good News

The good News is that we are going to wipe all Infractions away 100%. Yes, gone all infractions. Come on let me hear it for the Mods and Admins now. Yeah baby.


Better News

The better news is that we have remade the infraction table and you now Will Not Have Never Expire Infractions again. Infractions will have only days before they expire once you get one. Here is a list of the way the new infractions will look.


New Infraction Table

Posting Nudity - 10pts, Expires 120 days

Spammed Advertisements - 10pts, Expires 120 days

Spammed the forums - 8pts, Expires 60 days

Inappropriate Language - 5pts, Expires 15 days

Insulted Other Member(s) - 5pts, Expires 30 days

Using Profanity - 10pts, Expires 30 days

Abused reputation system - 5pts, Expires 30 days

Shoutbox Abuse - 5pts, Expires 15 days

Signature Rule Violation - 5pts, Expires 10 days

Multiple Accounts - 10pts, 120 days (added)

Custom Infraction - Mods or Admin can give out other infractions for any amount of time.

**Note:Mods Can and WILL give 50 infraction points at one time for x amount of days/weeks if something is done that deserves it.

We have also added 4 New User Groups for all to have a change to get into. The user groups are groups just like the ones you can get into know but 4 more. Let me explain them to you. They are Infraction User Groups, yeah, I know you love them already. So here is a list of them and how to get into them.

Infraction Groups

Reprimanded lvl 1 - Infraction Points for this Group 15, Limited items are: custom title taken away and replaced with Reprimanded, any color that the user may have had within a User Group will be taken, Public Polls - No making and No voting,.

Reprimanded lvl 2 - Infraction Points for this Group 25, Same as level one and the following. Public group access will be taken away (Club Lobster, Club Mouse, Fuzzy Bunnies, Penguin Posse and Squirrel Squad), Non-Public groups access will be taken away (Special Sections), Can NOT use Reputation, PM box will be reset to lower settings, any special setting that was given in any group will be taken (like closing own threads, Signatures, Attachments and Avatars).

Reprimanded lvl 3 - Infraction Points for this Group 35, Same as level 2 and the following. CAN NOT make any new threads. **Can REPLY to threads and send PMs.**

Reprimanded lvl 4 - Infraction Points for this Group 50, Temp Banned until Infraction Points Expire to a point where you are set back into to group that is not banned.

*Note: When any infraction expires and the amount of infractions drop below a set level for a group the user will be placed in that group below or back into their Main User Group after Reprimanded lvl 1. You my see that you have other limits placed on you with in any infraction group.

Now all you have to do to get into any of the groups is get more and more infractions and keep them high so you do not get kicked out of them. You can also just ask Hairy Beast and he will help you out with it.

Oh, did I say that the Good News may be Not so Good News for some. So lets here it for the Mods and Admin...........Yeah Baby.
