The administration would like to give the community an opportunity to contribute. We just recently raised $160 to purchase vBulletin forum software. Thank you to everyone who contributed. We are still accepting donations for the maintenance & hosting. Thank you in advance to all who contribute.

So I have set up with paypal to go directly to a donation account donations@legendsforums.com. The link to the donation page is on the right side menu. Click it and follow the directions. Here is the direct link also Discussion forum for Tactics Arena Online - Donations

wow nice one prophet! i don't have moeny sorry :/ but donation to help run this place will be easier for u guys. and i have a suggestion the people who donate will be a diff color and there group will be called DONATORS to give respect and credits for pople who donated

I would like to ask a few questions first, if I may be allowed/heard

1.) Say the forum does shift to VB, do we lose everything we have here? Such as topics, and calendar events, pretty much anything and everything that makes up the forums.
2.) Besides the Rep system, which benefits would be lost/gained
3.) Should we also have a vote to see what everyone thinks? I'm for whatever will make the community better, but I think everyone should have a say. Maybe have a random lot of members and ask them. I'm sure above all the Admins here and the donators have more say.
4.) Does VB come with a nub blocker? :P

here are you answer:

1) most likely because if u want to keep these threads and posts it will be extra stuff for the Admins to do (u have to pay them extra)

2) we will gain.....better skins to choose (i got some) and that is all i know
3) not really let admin/mods decide . if we hold a poll it will take some extra time.
4) yes u can Ban people and u can put post restictings like only 10 posts per day for *special* people

i believe there is a converter from SMF to VBulletin as there is one from VBulletin to SMF, so the posts will stay

as for everything else, it doens't matter much whether we upgrade to vb or not, these forums have lots to offer, as SMF is 100X better then phpBB, option and mod wise

im not willing to pay, but if other ppl are - im all for them

and another poss upgrade for these forums would be hosting plan...ive seen mulitple occasions when legendsforums has exceeded its bandwith limits...

2. I also don't have a paypal account.
Honestly, if i could contirbute here, i would. anything to make the forums better is awesome in my book. If i get either of those, i'll most likely make a donation.
