Even though I hardly post anymore, I'd still love to donate some extra cash. Unfortunately, I do not have access to a credit card. Is there some sort of mailing address I can send this to?

If you don't, then I'm sorry. Even if I cannot send anything, if its possible, the people who contributed should be listed once this upgrade is done. Just to show the community the highest examples of "good citizens".

VB is a stable code. SMF is still working on a stable that can offer alot of features. VB is already there. That is really the main thing. If you google VB, you will see many say it is the best software. It is much user/admin friendly.

VB has a converter for SMF. So we should not lose any posts or topics. However there might be some minor stuff like, you will have to get a new password. VB & SMF store their passwords differently. I don't really see the need to vote because it will definitely be an upgrade. Everyone should want that.

Just for information, the Admins have committed to pay $60 towards this. I will be adding this to the donations page soon. Also, yes donors will be getting a cool badge under their name. Probably Charter member or something like that. The badge will be for people who donate $5 or more.

I know you have good intentions, but not all of us like you said have access to a credit card/paypal. If I had access to either, I would donate half or as much as I could afford

Well I assumed that most everyone that had a gold account used a paypal account to get it. Therefore assuming that people had access to a paypal account to donate money to the forums.

I used Paypal to get mine, but it was my Aunt who did it all for me. I cannot use hers due to personal reasons.
