Drop Pattern

First of all, Legends Forums is not a cheat site. Legends Forums will also not will not promote or condone ANY game cheats.

Now, as easy as it is, there is to be absolutely now threads or posts that give the drop pattern, whether it be legitimate or not. Drops are a facet of the game that give players who play consistently an edge. It promotes the game and gameplay. It was not originally intended for to be deciphered and give players the opportunity to only play when there is a drop.

You may ask, "What about the drop thread?" The drop thread is completely different. It will only tell you what the last drop was and time. Giving by players who play the game CONSISTENTLY. In no way does it give a pattern but can tell you the next drop will most likely not be the previous.

I also know that Brutalrage's system has made it even more possible to decipher the drop pattern. I will be in discussion with about removing this part of his site. I had a feeling that the system would eventually give me and all the mods headaches, though it does help to catch cheaters.

Let me clarify another thing: Gaining unearned stats is cheating. Figuring out the drop pattern is a "cheat".

Big difference.

I gave S3RO 2 warnings before I gave him any infractions and removed the signature content, but he kept replacing it. Pure pigheadedness. He's lucky I didn't just ban him, really, considering that he was basically laughing in the mod team's faces the whole time. Two lots of 10 infraction points? He's got off lightly.

Not as lightly as Tay, though, because I really didn't want to have to infract him for the same offence. There's no way we can ban a game mod from the forum.

I can't stress this enough...THERE IS NO CHEATING IN TAO, there are no actual rules. Now we can determine that boosting is wrong, because it gives a false impression of a player. But seriously...the drop pattern....is no big deal, it was known before various times before this forum existed. What's the big deal? Drops are part of the game, and you still have to be in a game when it happens, and win the game. If anything setting up wins for the drop against clanmates should be a bigger deal than knowing the drop pattern.

That is why the drop thread is no problem. But to come out and advertise a precise drop pattern is a "game cheat". Be it wrong or right is debatable.

I don't think I revealed the drop pattern in my prior post.

Btw, what's to stop people from putting the drops down in a text file from the last drop thread and figuring it out that way?
