Well, funny things happen....
A year ago from...a couple days ago I think, I came to
LF. Registered my little hiney, and in no time got a buttload of negs! It's been fun.
And then a year from that, Gypsy gets banned >.> lol.
Well, let me chronicle you things from my point of view:
Months 1-3: A Noob Signs up on
LF
Once upon a time, there was a little e-noob called Duraza. He was fresh off of growing a massive e-peen due to developing another game. With confidence in his mind and a prior love of
TAO, he wandered back into that mystique that clouds this game for newcomers. He loved every minute of it, learning the "tough love" of
LF and doing his best to fit in. After a couple of epic fail threads and posts, he finally adjusted to the climate and did his best with his old clan, Netjak.
Months 3-7: Relative Peace
Not much happened on
LF during these times. A few flare ups, and the game was rumbling along like it normally did. Lots of forum activity, lots of new players and forumers coming in, and the tournament season was in full swing. Little Duraza, in the meantime, was stuck in the stat race, about 1300 by this time. After much whoring and selling of body parts to other e-players, he finally managed to get a double gold. Confidence swelled almost to a bursting point, our hero managed to lay the law down on some poor noobs before being brought back to reality by the better players. Poor little Dur struggled and clawed for quite a while before bringing his stats up to 1500, where they would rest while he focused on other things....
Months 7-9: Chaos Eclipse
A brother of our hero, Johnny13, requested Duraza's help in working with his clan. Duraza agreed, and created a new account which would later become gold, Djinni. He struggled and wept, through many hardships, but eventually Chaos Eclipse became a respected clan in
TAO. CE rose up the ranks to about 10 or so, but then.......Johnny13 left for a family trip, and our hero was made to go Netjak or Nothing, to appease the elder gods....
Months 9-12: The Great Spam Wars
Duraza fought and wept many times, aiding his family of Netjakkers through many troubled times. His new account was raised beyond the stat limits, and he focused on foruming. Oftentimes gaining 200+ posts in a day, he gained a reputation as well...a spammer >.> winning the spammer of the year award, he kind of dwindled off as real life held its icy cold grip upon his e-ween0r. He began moderating a new game, as
TAO slowly began losing some of its players. ABO, it was called, and it took much of Duraza's time. However, he remained faithful and steady on
TAO, and was named leader after nearly two years with Netjak ingame-wise. This brought him back to the game, where he has resided ever since, smoking pot and discussing life's mysteries with his friends in netjak.
Therein resides my history. Not much, really, but I wanted to say...
It's been a great year with
LF! I don't plan on leaving any time soon, so I hope you all are ready for another year with me!
